The recently formed Saugus Leos Club is partnering with Yankee Candle for an on-line fund-raising event. Leos Clubs are youth groups comprised usually of high school students and are sponsored by a local Lions Club, in this case the Saugus Massachusetts Lions Club.
The nice part of this fund-raiser is that anyone, anywhere can support it by simply clicking on the Saugus Leos Club link below and clicking the Yankee Candle link on the web-site. The prices are the same as shopping directly with Yankee Candle. The advantage is that the Leos Club raises funds for community projects. The sale takes place only during the month of October, 2008. Please take a few minutes to browse through the web-site and, if you will be ordering any candles for Halloween or Christmas, please order them in October and help out the Saugus Leos.
One more thing you can do to help is forward this information to all
in your address book. No matter where customers are located, if they
order through the Saugus Leos site, the Leos Club raises funds for
charity.
